Sorry for being so late getting this month’s Hocking Hills calendar page out. My dish satellite internet was not cooperating with all the rain we have had lately. I am working a full time job because my writing and artwork do not pay the bills. Such is the life of a starving artist. What I do is a labor of love even if I get no financial gain from it.
So… this month I am sharing a page from my Volume 2 coloring book inspired by the Hocking Hills. In November we are all preparing for winter by raking leaves and starting fires in the fireplace. We stock up on food for a winter ice storm and we start to wear our winter coats and sweaters.
I have taken a vertical layout of a coloring page and squeezed it into a horizontal layout of a squirrel and his nut. The caption is, “I’m nuts about the Hocking Hills”.

Samples of Colored Pages
A friends teenage daughter colored the page below. I would love to see any colored pages you have done. You can post them on my Facebook pages at: https://www.facebook.com/AdultColoringBooksTerriBaker/ or https://www.facebook.com/HockingHillsGuidebook/
No age limits apply here. You can submit your two year old toddlers version or a 90 year old grandmothers style. Submit your own colored pages. The more the merrier. You will make my day.
That’s all for now. Stay warm and as of today (November 4th) there are still some fall leaves to look at in the Hocking Hills. They will soon be gone and and the squirrels will have finished storing their nuts for the winter.
