Lake Logan State Park
One of the best fishing lakes in Ohio is at Lake Logan State Park. The lake has northern pike, bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and saugeye. Lake Logan also has a 527-foot swimming beach for those who would rather relax by the water.
The 527 foot public swimming beach is on the North Shore on Lake Logan Road (C.R.3). Sailboats and powerboats with a maximum of 10-horsepower motors and speed limit of 10 miles an hour are popular on the lake. A boat ramp is located off Lake Logan Road.
For hikers, the trailhead for the one mile loop Pine Vista hiking trail is located across from

They also rent pontoons, row boats, canoes and paddle boats for those who prefer to be on the water. For more information call the Lake Logan Marina at 740-380-2956. Winter activities include sledding, ice skating and ice fishing. Lake Logan State Park is located at 30443 Lake Logan Road in Logan, Ohio. Other Swimming Locations
Lake Hope has a beach for swimming and Tar Hollow has a lake and public beach with a diving walkway across the lake.
The Lodge at Old Man’s Cave has a public swimming pool and the city of Logan has a local pool. Lake Logan has a public beach and Nelsonville has a water park.
