Each year more than 3 million people visit the Hocking Hills State Park and the number continues to grow each year. A non-profit organization has been formed in 2004 to enhance the Park’s features and the offerings that benefit all visitors.
Their mission is: To foster a partnership between outdoor enthusiasts and the Hocking Hills State Park that ensures a better place for nature education, while setting high conservation standards and raising a strong sense of responsibility for future generations.
As a member of this worthwhile organization, you will be funding a wide range of park improvements. They have recently constructed a new raptor rehabilitation unit and wildlife viewing blinds at Rose Lake.
An ongoing goal is trail maintenance and the construction of an astronomical observatory to be built at the Hocking Hills State Park Lodge. They promote and support educational projects within the state parks.
For more info contact their office at 740-380-0729 or visit their website:
Their office is located in the Hocking Hills Lodge located at 20160 State Route 664 South, Logan.
If you wish to write to them, write to them at the main park office:

So in conclusion, if you are looking for a new non-profit organization to support, look no further. The huge projects they are taking on will last for not only our generation, but future generations as well.
